Who’s behind LongevityMap
Longevity is a field full of noise and marketing. That’s why every guide, every score, and every claim on LongevityMap is based on peer-reviewed scientific literature. We are an independent editorial team — we are not doctors, we don’t give clinical advice, and we have no conflicts of interest with the clinics we evaluate.
What we are and what we’re not
What we are
- An editorial team specialized in longevity medicine
- Researchers who review PubMed, Cochrane and Nature
- An independent platform with no ties to clinics
- Transparent about our sources and limitations
What we’re not
- ✕We are not a medical center and don’t provide diagnoses
- ✕We don’t prescribe or recommend specific treatments
- ✕We don’t replace consultation with a healthcare professional
- ✕We don’t accept payment from clinics to improve their score
Our editorial process
1. Research
We review studies published in PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Nature for each treatment. We only include claims supported by peer-reviewed scientific evidence.
2. Writing
The editorial team transforms evidence into accessible content. Each guide includes evidence level, verified price range, standard protocol, and documented contraindications.
3. Internal review
Each article goes through at least two internal reviewers before publication. We verify that sources are correctly cited and that there are no unsupported claims.
4. Continuous updates
We monitor new scientific publications and update guides when there is relevant evidence. Each page shows its last review date.
Our scientific sources
These are the databases and scientific journals we consult to verify every claim:
Editorial principles
Verifiable scientific basis
All content is based on scientific literature published in indexed journals. Claims without sufficient evidence are explicitly marked as "limited evidence" or "under research".
No conflicts of interest
No team member has financial stake in clinics registered on LongevityMap. Clinics cannot pay to improve their score or influence editorial content.
Objective and auditable scoring
The 0-100 clinic scoring is based on technical criteria published in our methodology. These are declared and verified data, not satisfaction surveys.
We are not medical advice
We are an informational platform. Our content does not replace consultation with a healthcare professional. We always recommend consulting a doctor before starting any treatment.
Medical Advisory Board
We are in the process of incorporating licensed physicians specialized in longevity medicine who will review and validate our clinical content. Until then, all content is based exclusively on peer-reviewed scientific literature and does not constitute medical advice.
Important notice
LongevityMap content is informational and educational. It does not constitute personalized medical advice nor does it replace consultation with your doctor. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any longevity treatment.
